E non molto tempo fa, sul numero 99 (settembre 2020, disponibile <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sensormedica.com\/medi-99-e21968.pdf\">CLICCANDO QUI<\/a><\/strong><\/span>), \u00e8 uscito un interessantissimo articolo di analisi posturale che riporta i risultati di uno studio approfondito sulla distribuzione della pressione plantare in relazione al sesso e \u2013 in modo specifico \u2013 al peso.<\/p><p>Lo studio, condotto su un campione di 416 bambini, si \u00e8 avvalso, per le misurazioni pressorie, della pedana <strong>FreeMed Maxi<\/strong> di nostra progettazione. Ogni bambino \u00e8 stato sottoposto a una valutazione strumentale posturale tra cui una <strong>baropodometria statica<\/strong> (posizionato in posizione ortostatica) col fine di acquisire le <strong>caratteristiche del piede in termini di percentuale di pressione plantare<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Un contributo che ci fa capire ancora di pi\u00f9 l\u2019importanza del nostro lavoro in Sensor Medica e la responsabilit\u00e0 di questi studi scientifici, i quali riguardano non solo la posturologia, ma anche gli aspetti della <strong>vita sociale di ogni individuo<\/strong>. Un impegno che ci spinge a continuare ogni giorno la nostra ricerca per realizzare strumenti sempre pi\u00f9 precisi e funzionali.<\/p><p>Ma vediamo nel dettaglio i risultati di questa ricerca e cerchiamo di capirne l\u2019importanza anche in ottica di prevenzione. Ricordiamo, ai fini della comprensione dell\u2019analisi, che il tutto \u00e8 stato valutato in relazione al peso &#8211; e al sesso &#8211; dei bambini. Ecco le quattro categorie prese in considerazione: sottopeso, peso normale, sovrappeso e obesi.<\/p><p>[\u2026] it has been shown that several individual characteristics such as age, poor fitness status, illness may be influencing factors which alter plantar pressure distribution, which may lead to various deformities. In this regard, studies have shown that overweight and obese children are exposed to a higher risk of gait patterns deficiency, unstable posture, exposure to higher forces\/impacts to the lower limbs, lower limbs malalignment, and diminished bone mineral density, which has been previously related to increased incidence of overuse injuries and bone fractures. Consequently, in this regard, studies have urged the necessity to analyze foot plantar pressure as a precaution for postural disorders, particularly in the feet. Besides the above-mentioned health issues, a massive increase of pediatric obesity has been reported worldwide in the last decade, which has been linked with several health problems, and has become an essential topic for public health. Furthermore, it has been proven that excessive body weight has a direct effect on children\u2019s musculoskeletal system development, a problem that disturbs and changes their speed, step length, and stability compared with normal weight counterparts. In addition, the related literature regarding the effect of obesity on foot structure has highlighted that overweight among preschool children is correlated with anatomical changes and differences in the distribution of plantar pressure, and consequently the increased loading could lead to an increased risk of developing pathologies and injuries. [\u2026]<\/p><p>Appare evidente quanto sia importante la serie di dati che uno studio come questo pu\u00f2 elaborare, con la possibilit\u00e0 di intervenire per tempo sul singolo individuo, prima che suddette deformit\u00e0 possano insorgere (la prevenzione \u00e8 un tema a noi molto caro). In sostanza, lo studio ha dimostrato che \u201cesiste un effetto della categoria di peso nella distribuzione della pressione plantare, con i bambini obesi significativamente diversi dalle altre categorie. Inoltre, \u00e8 stato riscontrato che i bambini obesi portano pi\u00f9 peso sul piede destro rispetto a quello sinistro.\u201d<\/p><p>Il risultato \u2013 in relazione all\u2019incidenza dell\u2019obesit\u00e0 \u2013 \u00e8 perfettamente in linea con quanto riscontrato in studi precedenti e sottolinea un aspetto non trascurabile: \u201c[\u2026] il peso eccessivo ha un impatto negativo sulla morfologia del piede e sulla sensibilit\u00e0 del piede, che ha un ruolo cruciale nei compiti posturali che coinvolgono l&#8217;equilibrio\u201d.
