Advanced Training in Baropodometry and Movement Biomechanics
Advanced Training in Baropodometry and Movement Biomechanics
Academic event in collaboration with Universidad CES (Colombia) and Sensor Medica
On November 1st, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a specialized seminar will take place focusing on the biomechanical analysis of posture, walking, and running through advanced baropodometric technologies. The event is organized in collaboration with Universidad CES (Colombia) and will feature Catalina Villa Sáenz, a Biomedical Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Biomechanical Assessment from the IBV in Spain. She has extensive training in technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of foot pathologies (Erasmus+) and in Surface Electromyography (ISB).
Training Program
During the session, participants will explore:
Posture, walking, and running analysis using baropodometric systems.
Objective evaluation of gait and biomechanical variables.
Injury prevention and performance optimization techniques.
Technology-based methodologies aligned with international standards for clinical and sports assessment.
Course Objectives
The main goal of the seminar is to provide professionals in healthcare, sports, and rehabilitation with practical and up-to-date training in movement analysis technologies, based on scientific evidence and real-world applications.
Through demonstrations and case studies, attendees will learn how to integrate innovative biomechanical tools into their daily professional practice.
